Welcome to the Liberty Bell Chapter's Website Tour

Our new website has been redesigned to be faster, more informative with an added cleaner interface. We are also developing new pages and we are going to make more resources available to our chapter members. We've added a lot to our website so we added this tour page to make sure you don't miss anything. We want you to be able to find what you're looking for and help make your visit to be productive and enjoyable.

Stop back often because although our new site is up and running it's far from completed. We have a lot of great things in the works and plenty more we are brainstorming about. You're going to want to stop back to see what we have planned!!

Large Scrolling Graphics

The large scrolling graphics on our Home page are not just for looks. Here you will find updated information on what's going on in the chapter as well as showing off our wonderful city. When the Home Page opens the large graphics are programed to go into slide-show mode. You can easily stop this show in several ways: hover your cursor over the graphic, click on the pause button on the graphic, or click on the left < and right > arrow buttons. Some graphics will be hyper-linked to more information.

RSS RIM News Feeds

Also on our Home Page you will see our RRS live news feed. Here you will find updated information from several information related sources. If you hover your mouse to the left or right of the news feed you will be presented with arrows to move the information in those directions.  Just click on the news article of interest to go and view the entire story.  These are live feeds and are updated automatically.

Hyper-Linked Key Words

We are doing our best to include hyper-links to key words and images on all of our pages. These will link back to articles and/or to the referenced website page.

• You'll find quick links on all pages for key words
• Even our graphics will have hot links to pages when available
• All hyper-links are blue and underlined

Social Bookmarks

Keep connected and network with our provided professional social bookmarks.  There are some great networking opportunities available through many of the social sites.  We  provide links to many of the professional RIM social sites available to make it easier for you to keep connected. You'll find these links on the bottom "footer" of all of our web pages.

Electronic Newsletter Subscription

If you're a member you already receive our hard copy newsletter. We also provide all of our newsletters online. But help us be green by subscribing to the electronic version of our newsletter. You will find our "Subscribe to Newsletter" feature on the bottom of all of our web pages.

You can always view our Newsletter Archive if you ever miss a copy.

More Indepth Information

Chat

This is a new feature that we hope you will use and like. You can chat with other members live or leave a question and come back to see if you received a response. All comments are archived for future reference.

You can choose your favorite text color and even use emoticons.  Please give it a try and let us know what you think.  You can find the Chat feature on our Contact Us page.

Live Support

Live Support is another new feature we are in the process of testing. You will be able to receive live support from the webmaster and/or other board members when we are available.  For now, you can use the feature for Chat when other members are available by clicking on the "Live Chat Now" image.

Live Webcam Feeds (Coming Soon)

Our Live Webcam is in test mode. We are hoping to provide live webcam feeds of our chapter meetings or other events. Stay tuned for further updates and information on this exciting venture.

New Members Only Section (Coming Soon)

Our Members Only section is also being revised. The new "Members Only" section will have more automation allowing you to set-up your account.  You will also be able to request your login info if you forget your username or password. For now we only have user supplied information available.  In the near future we intend to provide some great resources to our members in this secure section.

Vendor Advertising and Chapter Support

We want to be able to provide vendors an opportunity to use our site to showcase their services and applications. We depend on vendors for their support and for the services they provide. We hope this section of our site will satisfy both of these needs. This is also in development. Keep on the watch for more information and activity on this page.  Take a look here to get an idea of what the page will look like.
