Presentation Summary: Privacy By Design
“Privacy by Design” must be any modern-day organization’s default mode when it comes to developing new products, technologies or business strategies. Phil’s presentation will focus on today’s existing complex privacy requirements for any global organization, as well as where global privacy requirements may be headed. He will provide best practices for Information Governance professionals who are looking to build a program that incorporates privacy into its program policies, procedures and practices.
More about Phil: Phillip Kizun is the Chief Privacy Officer for local fintech firm, SEI Investments. Phil’s expertise in data privacy has been built through his extensive international resume in various privacy roles across the US and Europe. Most recently, Phil served as Data Privacy Project Manager for Flight Centre, a $14 billion US-based travel services company. There he delivered a comprehensive program that allowed the company to gain compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and PIPDEA (Canada).
Prior to is many privacy roles, Phil also served as HR Director in both the Pharma and Finance industries where privacy and compliance are the foundations for market success.
Phil holds citizenship in both the US and the UK, speaks fluent German, Russian and French, and lives in Chadds Ford, PA.
